Our goal is to walk with you through this difficult season and help lead you to independence and confidence for both you and your baby. KF House offers the support needed to succeed and be the mom you dream you’ll be. KF Homes’ mission is to empower young mothers facing an unplanned pregnancy by providing them with a safe, encouraging, and educational home environment.

The KF homes provides expectant mothers with free residence for up to 18 months. During which time, these ladies enjoy a support system that not only addresses the physical needs associated with their pregnancy – things such as prenatal care and nutritional training – but their mental health and spiritual needs as well through discussions with live-in staff, counselors, mentors and volunteers.

KF Homes provides support by offering these women daily guidance in regards to life-skills training, financial planning, job openings, and opportunities that are available to them through vocational training courses and continued education programs. With each of these efforts, KF Homes seeks to provide our residents the opportunity to heal, grow, plan and educate themselves on the upcoming event that is about to change their life forever.

The Residence

Located at Mau , Majango , Nansana Municipality approximately 2,000 sq ft, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. KF has the capacity to house up to 4 adult residents plus 1 live-in staff member.

The Location

The property is conveniently located near Kyeswa Foundation headquarters & Icon Medical Clinic, providing residents with easy access to KF’s wrap-around services and care.

Goals

Long term expansion goals of KF community include purchase of 10 acres land along Bombo road that will have KF Homes, transitional living environment, and a business/training facility, place of worship all adjacently located.

What We Need

REQUIREMENTS FOR KF HOME RESIDENTS

Must be 16 or older
Willing to share a bedroom (2 resident beds per bedroom)
Willing to continue or enroll in an accredited education program
Willing to learn life, parenting, and employment skills and participate in training classes of such
Willing to attend counseling with counselor of choice on a regular basis if determined necessary
Must complete entire application process including an interview, application, and admission packet
Photo ID (KF Home can help obtain these items if needed)
