Want to be part of our Volunteering team?
We’d love to find a role that is just the right fit for your interests and availability, and that also allows you to engage with the community in a way that is meaningful for you.
Starting 2024 January, we hope to serve expectant mothers in need AND those who want to know the blessing of serving others as we distribute 3-6,000 pounds of food each quarter at our KF Homes located in Mau Maganjo , Nansana Municipality.
- We are open every first Saturday of the new Quarter (every 3 months).
- We hope to serve Hundreds of families with dried and fresh produce.
- Our families will be expectant mothers going through a difficult time.
We provide healthy foods, nutrition tips, breastfeeding help and referrals to pregnant women in crisis. This ensures that expectant mothers do not have to worry about where they’ll get their next meal.
Volunteers are our lifeline!
Our volunteers are the reason KYESWA FOUNDATION is able to help expectant mothers annually, and provide meaningful support to our most vulnerable neighbors. Volunteering is also an opportunity to build lasting connections which strengthen the social fabric of local neighborhoods and our larger community.
- You can make a difference in the life of a family with your gift of time or groceries. You DO NOT have to be a KF staff member to be on our volunteer team
- Volunteers may help with the buying groceries, sending money to our account, distribute food on Saturday.
- Our team will load, unload, transport, unpack, sort and repack food for our mothers
- Your service is real work, and you will meet new friends, help people and be a part of something LARGE!
- The VOLUNTEERS eat together 12-1:00 Saturday
- You must be 18 or older to serve
